Leslie, an eighth generation Alabamian, lives within a few miles of her Alabama Territory pioneer ancestors. Her maternal line has been buried in the Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (Historical Marker HM1F4C) for almost 200 years. Her maternal line also descends from both Muscogee (Creek) and Shawnee Native American tribes.

Leslie’s hobbies include horse rescue, genealogy research, bunco, macro photography and event photography for local hereditary society conferences. Prior to a neck injury she was an avid traveler, skydiver and hang-glider. Leslie especially enjoys website design and has built over 45 hereditary society websites.
